Between work, life, and other commitments, it’s been a tough few weeks for my fitness side of things. I missed a number of days during the last two weeks, and also missed yesterday due to an expected alarm clock issue. I think I’ve missed more sessions over the last month than I have over the preceding twelve months!
Oh well, no sense crying about it. I just have to pick up and keep going. I had a good session this morning.
I also find that after a tough period like this, I’ll often approach my routine differently, see what’s working and what’s not, and make beneficial changes.
Anyone else find that forced time away from one’s routine can have unexpected benefits?
